Explosion disrupting the quiet night
Fire blazing, bright like daylight
A pillar of smoke reaching heaven
Counting the bodys who’ve fallen
Winds are spreading the disease
Bringing everyone to their knees
This place no longer being livable
Most dangerous this power is invisible
Incineration
Sickness
Fainting
Death
Evacuation
Escape
Abadoning
Desolation
This has never happened before
Destroyed, collapsed, rotten to the core
No plan, no ally, we are helpless
No shield, no wall, we are defenseless
Exposed to this invicible enemy
It’s already too late, can’t you see?
They are hiding in fear saying prayers
There can’t be any god,
This is chaos!
But why? Is this really happening?
No hope, no future, no reasoning?
No nightmare, it‘s worst case scenario
My homeland, my family, I’m leaving you
Fleeing from the scene, but where?
Somewhere far and fast but I don’t care
This way imagine we are safe
No, we are doomed, halfway to the grave!

The first 30 seconds of "Revenge by Fire" convinced me to get the whole album! It is a face-melting blend of speed and black metal, reminiscent of Hellripper! KVAEN is a Swedish solo project much like Hellripper but many known guest musicians helped J. Björnfot in his endeavor. Altogether it is really a solid debut album, I loved the melodies and the pace changes in the second half too, ending with a "calm" instrumental one. Well-done!! sachavonkarl74

Swedish OSDM is very special to me and I love it dearly. Eschaton is a good opportunity to show you the seasons for this love. Let the buzzsaw reign 🤘
